FAQ

What Is A Hospitality House?

A safe and caring environment for displaced individuals to receive shelter, food, and basic needs. Mrs. Rina's House of Blessings will be a temporary home for Martin County students and their families in crisis to stay while they get back on their feet and into permanent housing.

How Long Can A Family Stay?

Families can stay on a short term transitional basis. The end goal is for the family to have enough time to find employment, save up first, last, and security, and move into permanent housing.

How Does The Home Operate?

Mrs. Rina's House of Blessings will solely run on per night donations from our house guests and financial support from our community. House rules include nightly curfew, assigned chores, family dinner, and more. Our residents are here to better themselves and better each other. When you step into the house, you are a part of Mrs. Rina's family.

How Do I Request To Stay With You?

Mrs. Rina's House of Blessings assist families through Elev8Hope. Elev8Hope and Mrs. Rina's House of Blessings assist families that have a child in the Martin County School District ONLY! If you do not have a child in the Martin County School District, you are not eligible for our program. You must be referred to us through MCSD Crisis Social Workers, School Administration, or the Martin County Sheriff's Office.
